A woman at one of the churches we served shared the poem below with me.  I committed it to memory because it struck my' funny bone' and my 'faith bone'.

I dreamed death came the other night and Heavens' gates swung wide.

With kindly gaze an angel ushered me inside.

There to my astonishment stood folks I'd known on earth.

Some I'd judged and labeled as unfit, of little worth.

Angry words rose to my lips

But never were set free.

Everyone showed stunned surprise.

No one expected me!

OR

 in the words of Jesus,

"Judge not lest ye be judged."

AMEN!

As you can imagine, I fully expect everyone to be surprised when I make it upstairs. What surprises me is that you could actually memorize something that has several lines in it. Be honest, babe. You wrote it down and then worked on it for several weeks. Right?
