I said in the previous blog that I could be a 'world whisperer'....just a little alliteration that came to me as I wrote.
Since typing it I have pondered what that might mean.
What might actually bring those words to life.
Last blog suggested that instead of the extremes of shouting in return or being silenced by the shouts that a 'world whisperer' might speak but with quiet strength.
Give voice in a way that quietly but deeply builds and builds and builds until it must be heard.
Because of that image, I just had to share what came to me as I sat by the window at our new home one night and listened to the 'whisper' of the insects in the trees.
I 'googled' it.
Said it was most likely crickets and that "Cricket songs are musical to the human ear because their carrier frequencies are relatively pure and low."
Cool.
HAD to blog that to the few of you who will see this.
One cricket is barely heard but when they come together (as they are while I type), there is a gentle hum that cannot be ignored.
I shall continue to imagine my voice being joined with others like yours until we too cannot be ignored.
We can be like the crickets.
Only we might whisper to the world what Jesus started long ago....and SO MANY since then....
PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSST...there is a better way....there is a better way....there is a better way....
"Pure and low."
World whisperers.

Dear Cheryl I love your optimism.
I have been following the Republicans jockeying for the Presidential nomination(particularly Donald Trump), the saga of the county clerk in Kentucky, the "black lives matter" protesters, and the father of the recently slain tv reporter.
The first two garnering more attention than the latter here in the UK. Their bigotry seems to rally support, whereas the fathers voice is almost drowned out.
I hope that there are lots of people out there with the same thoughts as yourself who are continually whispering. You can never give up trying to be heard.
Thinking of moving to the UK! Thanks for reading and responding...means much!
And you would be very welcome.
