It is the Saturday before Christmas and we are home for the WHOLE DAY.  Doesn't happen often so we are loving it.  Doing regular around the house stuff and finishing Christmas stuff.

And TRYING to ignore the way more than gentle nudge to respond to what is happening in this world right now because, well, because....

...I don't know HOW to respond.

It actually FEELS like maybe this is just a big joke....I think they call it being 'punked' nowadays.

Surely there cannot actually be THAT many people who agree we should ban an ENTIRE religion from entering the USA.

Surely, there cannot be THAT many people who think it is actually OKAY to say to the WORLD, among MANY other astonishingly rude and coarse things, "bomb the SHIT" out of Isis.

Surely, we are not going to vote in for Leader of the Free World someone who would be sent to the Principal's office were he in school?

I think maybe it is possible.

If so, then, let's be consistent....stop the anti-bullying campaigns because bullying is IN.

Tell the kids to stand TALL as a BULLY.  GO, GETTEM!  If "THEY" aren't as "WE" think they should be...whatever that is....then call them names, swear at 'em, shoot 'em, ban 'em.

"Make America great again."

I absolutely do not know how to respond to that...

...but, I gotta' be honest, it scares me way more than "the Muslims".

Shalom, my friends...please.

At the moment nothing that's coming out of America shocks me. In fact only yesterday I had a laugh out loud moment when I read a poll of GOP voters would bomb Agrabah because it sounds vaguely Muslim. In fact it's a fictional place where Aladdin resides! Is Trump all about ethnic cleansing? Is that the way he's going? How far before people realise how poisonous his rhetoric is? First the Mexicans and now a whole nation of Muslims. Forgive me for repeating myself, but why doesn't he show as much concern about all the gun violence right on his doorstep? I feel confident that come November 2016 he will not become the next President. And let's hope there's a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Syria. I have my doubts but you have to have faith.
