Like this sweet song by Barbra Streisand and Blake Shelton. It speaks to me.

When I played it this week, I thought of my friend, Elaine, who just lost her husband, Bill.

When we sat together just over a week ago she said what I already knew;  that God gave her the right man in giving her William.   That is because her unique life circumstances needed just what he had to offer to her.

In him, Elaine was given a ‘best friend’.

My heart is full for her as she adjusts to life without him physically by her side.  He is, however, forever with her in Spirit.  The words to this song give voice to that Spirit.
