I only mention the last blog because it kind of relates to this one and you may be one of those who has not read it so check it out if you want context.
If not, no biggie.
That blog spoke of how once we climb up and over the walls we build, we find common ground.
BUT, to do that we have to climb over those walls.
EVERY TIME I have done that WHEREVER I have been with WHOEVER I HAVE been, I have found common ground...I have been able to get to the HEART of the matter...
...and I have felt GOD in the very midst of that common ground.
It happened in the Dominican many times, with the people in the complex where we stayed as well as with the people in the villages where we worked.
So, when we were walking one day to get the gua-gua and I was looking down, it struck me deeply when
I saw this on our complex pathway.
How about that?
Right there, over the wall, on the ground on which we were walking.
COMMON Ground.
HEART of the matter.
GOD in the midst.
Way cool.
